Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 20, 2026

1. About DeconstructAI and these Terms

These Terms govern your use of DeconstructAI, an educational software service operated by Sabrice Guerrier. Throughout these Terms, “DeconstructAI,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to the service operated by Sabrice Guerrier.

By creating an account, accessing, or using DeconstructAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Educational Purpose

DeconstructAI is designed to support learning through structured tutoring and guided questioning. It is intended to supplement, not replace, instruction provided by educators or course materials. Tutor responses are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies or incomplete information. They are intended as educational support and should not replace course materials, instructor guidance, or professional advice.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to use your account outside the device limits described in your Account settings.

If you are using DeconstructAI on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use DeconstructAI for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights, is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, or probe the service or its underlying systems.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks connected to it.
  • Circumvent access controls, usage limits, or security measures.
  • Use automated systems to access the service in ways not authorized by us.
  • Share credentials or otherwise abuse the multi-device limits designed to prevent account sharing.

5. Intellectual Property

DeconstructAI and its contents — including the tutoring protocol, prompts, software, documentation, branding, and generated interface text — are owned by Sabrice Guerrier and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal or organizational educational purposes, subject to these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process and store it solely to provide the service to you.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds

Certain features require payment. Payments, billing, tax, subscription management, cancellation, and refunds are processed by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns.

For details on refunds, please see our Refund Policy. For Paddle's buyer terms, please see Paddle Buyer Terms.

Paddle, as Merchant of Record, determines and collects any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST at checkout based on your billing location, and issues your invoice. Subscription plans are billed in advance for the full plan period stated at checkout, and access continues for that period. Purchases of additional access periods extend your existing access rather than overlapping it.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep DeconstructAI available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the service with reasonable notice.

8. AI-Generated Content and Moderation

DeconstructAI uses AI to generate tutoring responses. You are responsible for how you use the service, including verifying outputs and ensuring your inputs comply with these Terms.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict content, suspend accounts, or refuse service to users who repeatedly violate these Terms or infringe the rights of others.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately; provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SABRICE GUERRIER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where required by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sabrice Guerrier from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

15. Severability and Force Majeure

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Neither party will be liable for failures caused by events beyond their reasonable control.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
